Professor Moira Clark named Chair of the Judges for European Contact Centre & Customer Service Awards 2024

12 June 2024, London. Leading expert in Strategic Customer Management and Founder of the Henley Centre for Customer Management, Professor Moira Clark, is the new Chair of Judges for the European Contact Centre & Customer Service Awards (ECCCSA). The greatest awards programme in the European customer contact industry is renowned for its credible, independent and robust judging process, which Moira will oversee. 

As an industry academic, practitioner and author, Moira will ensure the integrity of the programme is maintained at every stage of the judging process.  

“It is an absolute honour to have the opportunity to support the work of the customer contact industry by being the Chair of the Judges for these most prestigious awards,” said Moira. “I share the same principles of integrity and independence that have helped make these awards the powerhouse, or the Oscars, of the European contact centre and customer service industry.”  

Moira is Professor of Strategic Marketing at Henley Business School and Founder and Director of The Henley Centre for Customer Management.  She is a leading expert in Strategic Marketing and Strategic Customer Management; her main areas of research and consulting are in Customer Management, Customer Centricity, Customer Experience, Customer Journey Mapping, Service Excellence, Key Account Management and the drivers of Customer Retention and Service Excellence. She has worked extensively in the area of best practice customer experience, its impact on retention and loyalty, and the critical linkages between employee behaviour and customer retention.  

With an MBA and a PhD from Cranfield School of Management, Moira has far-reaching marketing and customer management consultancy experience with leading international companies and is a frequent keynote speaker at many public and in-company seminars and conferences around the world.  

She has researched and published widely on Customer Management, Relationship Marketing, Customer Experience and Service Excellence. Publications include for example, the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Retailing, Journal of Business Research, Psychology and Marketing and International Journal of Management Reviews. “The industry professionals that participate in these esteemed awards rightly expect a fair and sound judging process when they put so much into it,” said Managing Director of the ECCCSAs, Leigh Hopwood. “Moira is the perfect fit to oversee this process.
